The lungs artificial ventilation device
The lungs artificial ventilation device LAVD-D is a new step in arranging a lasting respiratory support, where all particular features for palliative patients are taken into account. So, based on one product the following may be provided: the whole cycle of procedures for stabilization of the patient, selection of resuscitation modes, arrangement of necessary respiratory support under home conditions and during walk. The product may be used in intensive therapy wards, hospices, during transportation and at home due to connection of a range of additional functional units.
LAVD-D will also help the hospitals to increase the circulation of bed-places of departments of resuscitation and intensive therapy and also to reduce the expenses for patients maintenance.
The device is maximally orientated to the convenience of use by the patients and is adapted for being used in home conditions under paramedic’s supervision.
Professional and home operation modes
There are provided two basic operation modes for the use in hospital and under home conditions (safe transition to professional mode is provided by a code-password).
The flexible modern interface gives a doctor the possibility to customize the reflection of monitoring parameters for own needs. The built-in software will prompt the user about timely replacement of valves and cables, service maintenance, alarms and necessity to call a doctor.
Variability of use
The touch screen with a rotation sensor allows to use the device in two positions: vertically – for placement on high surfaces and in monitoring mode during transportation; horizontally – on lower surfaces, pillars and mobiles poles.
Intuitive interaction
The use of physical buttons is brought to minimum. They are made in mirror design and are read equally well in horizontal and vertical positions. The removable lateral covers facilitate the replacement of single use breathing loops and valves and additionally protect the connection.
Ergonomics and dimensions
The device body is resistant to dust and moisture penetration and ensures quiet operation. With this, the functional aspect of the device is close to the external appearance of household appliances, thus also improving psychological comfort of the patients.
