Information security

The special check of technical means comprising the electronic component base of foreign production represents the measures having the purpose to detect the electronic devices intended for secret acquisition (interception) of information being processed in technical means and/or circulating in the rooms.

The license for realization of the activity for detection of electronic devices for secret acquisition of information is obtained by JSC «PA «UOMP» based on the Provision on licensing of the activity for detection of electronic devices intended for secret acquisition of information approved by the Resolution of the government of Russian Federation dated 16.04.2012 № 314.

In the interests of information security assurance the following should undergo special check:

• Main technical means and systems and also electronic component base of foreign production intended to be employed in the composition of main technical means and systems;
• Auxiliary technical means and systems and also objects of interior, souvenirs and presents of foreign production intended for installation in allocated (secured) rooms;
• Technical means, that passed earlier through special check, in relation to which the information security requirements were violated in the course of operation, storage, transportation, repair, starting-up and adjustment works;
• Electronic component base employed in the systems of military, special, double and civil purpose in relation to which the information security requirements are established.
